    While wandering through Old Nice, we came across the back kitchen of this restaurant and saw people actually cooking, not microwaving.  Good sign!

    €14.50 3 Course Menu: Salad with meat stuffed veggies, Beef stew over pasta, "white cheese with honey"...which really means yogurt and honey.  
    €18.50 3 Course Menu: Salad Nicios, grilled salmon, and candied pear with creme.  
    €10 500ml carafe of house wine...good enough!  

    Not the best food, but it all tasted simple and homemade, and was affordable!

    A very nice evening! Daub w/ gnocchi, appetizer stuffed veggies, pizza w/ ham & olives. A litre of rose wine & lemonchello. A wonderful experience w/ the wait staff who spoke English, French, Russian & Lithowainian. Beautiful alley seating, quiet compared to a lot of places - a fun night!

    I never thought I'd find absolutely awful, terrible, inedible cuisine in France, but this place has earned that praise. Really, we left our main dishes half eaten and the desserts as well. The best I can say for this place is the waitress was nice, as if she knew she was serving slop. She did not bother to ask why we left both of our main dishes more than half uneaten. Nor did she ask why we didn't eat the desserts. She knew. IT WAS AWFUL! The bathroom, used by the staff as well, had no soap. If I'd seen that prior to ordering I'd have walked out. By all means, avoid this place like the plague it is. If we don't get sick tonight we will be very grateful.
